Located in Wiltshire, in the Southwest of England, Salisbury is one the county’s most historically important cities and continues to attract tourists in great numbers. Stonehenge is certainly the chief attraction in Wiltshire and within 30 minute drive of the city. This prehistoric monument is built of massive stone blocks and has a mysterious past, its purpose is thought to be either an altar for a sun-worshiping culture or an ancient astrological calendar.
